Simple line drawing in pen and ink by the very talented Carissa Tanton.
This print is part of a limited collection, commissioned by India Em to raise awareness for the decline in the bee population.
One-third of our global food supply is pollinated by these amazing insects and quite simply put, bees keep plants and crops alive, which in turn keeps us alive. Bees are vital to the survival of agriculture and we hope that this little print will raise inquisitive questions from your little ones!
Printed in Carissa's studio in North Wales on beautiful handmade lokta paper. Lokta paper is a sustainable resource. The bark of the plant is stripped away to make the paper and as the root system of the bush is not damaged it grows back!
Size: A5: 14.8 x 21 cm (5.8 x 8.3 inches).
Please note that the print is sent unframed. Shipped with care in a card back envelope and wrapped in biodegradable packaging with a piece of cardboard to protect it. No plastic is used, making this print as eco-friendly as possible.
